NORBIT sonar operators conduct unmanned underwater vehicle detection and tracking demonstrations with their GuardPointTM 100 and GuardPointTM400 unit sonar systems during a training exercise at Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, Aug. 12. NORBIT provides diver detection sonars for tracking undersea threats in ports and harbors.
“The CCUV COI FY25 Summit Demonstration provided an ideal venue to show how GuardPointTM100 and GuardPointTM400 deliver reliable detection and tracking of small, low-signature targets such as UUVs,” said Eric Levitt, VP Maritime Security & Defense, NORBIT. “From rapid setup to clear target tracks, our systems are designed to assist customers secure critical infrastructure and waterways.”
NORBIT’s GuardPointTM IDS systems integrate with command-and-control workflows and are engineered for expeditionary deployment and sustained harbor operations. The demonstrations reflected NORBIT Security’s ongoing commitment to advancing practical, field-ready capability against evolving underwater threats.
